At which locations is the Snow Train package available and what does it include?
The Snow Train + Skipass package includes: a roundtrip Trenord ticket, a shuttle service and a skipass valid for selected days (1 or 2).
The Snow Train + Snowshoes package , on the other hand, is only available in Chiesa in Valmalenco and includes a roundtrip train ride, shuttle service and rental of the equipment needed for snowshoeing.
The Snow Train offer is available only for the following locations:
- Aprica
- Church in Valmalenco
- Domobianca
- Madesimo
- Piani di Bobbio
When purchasing, it is possible to select the arrival time at the station where the shuttle transfer will take place, as well as the departure time from the station at the end of the day.
This selection allows the relevant consortium to arrange shuttle trips and confirm their availability. All details regarding round-trip times can be found directly in the product tab.
How far in advance is it necessary to buy the snow train ticket?
- You must complete your ticket purchase by 5:00 p.m. the day before your trip.
- After this time you will not be able to purchase the product for the next date.
How can I check availability?
-To check the availability of a Snow Train, you must first select the train with the duration and location of interest in the Snow Trains section ; then, following the purchase flow, you will be able to view and select the date(s) of validity of the product.
- The dates in green are those available. If a slot is not selectable, it will mean that availability for that day is exhausted.
- The Snow Trains product will not be purchasable if there is a strike or work on the railroad.
How can I select the train schedule?
- Before you buy your ticket, check the Trenord website to see what schedules and trains depart from your home station.
- You will be able to take the train at any station in Lombardy, during the purchase flow of your ticket you will need to select the arrival time at the station where the dedicated shuttle awaits you and will take you directly to the entrance of the ski lifts.
Is it possible to leave on the first day and return the next day?
- Yes, you will only need to purchase the 2-day Snow Train product.
- Tickets are automatically generated during purchase with the validity date for the train, buying the two-day one will have tickets with a date for the outbound and the next day's date for the return.
N.B. It is not possible to extend or change the date of the return ticket.
Can I change my reservation after my purchase?
- No, after completing your purchase you will not be able to change, cancel, cancel, or request a refund of your order.
- We suggest that you always check the Cancellation Conditions listed on the product sheet before making your purchase. We also suggest checking the departures well to make sure you select the most convenient time.
Can I get more specific information about the event or location?
- Order confirmation emails contain contact information for the relevant consortium.
For practical information (e.g., addresses, equipment information, duration, etc.), you will need to contact the Consortium directly.

If I purchase a Snow Train + Skipass, will insurance be included?
Insurance is optional and can be purchased during the flow in some Snow Train + Skipass areas. If you include it during purchase you will receive the policy number in your order confirmation email.
Please note: for Snow Train + Skipass packages for Chiesa in Valmalenco and Domobianca, there is NO option to add insurance during the purchase flow.
You will receive a link in your order confirmation email to purchase it at a later date.
Can I load the ski pass onto my Snowitcard?
- Yes, you will be able to load your ski pass if you purchase a Snow Train to Piani di Bobbio, Aprica and Madesimo. If you do not yet have a Snowitcard you will be able to pick it up at any of our pick-up points.
- For the Chiesa in Valmalenco and Domobianca ski areas, however, there is NO charge on the Snowitcard, as the ski passes will be delivered directly to your location.
How does the Rental Voucher for Chiesa in Valmalenco work?
The rental voucher for Chiesa in Valmalenco is a convenient option that you can add directly during the online purchase process.
- During the checkout flow, select the rental option you prefer. Once your order is complete, you will receive a confirmation email containing all the necessary details and contact information.
- When you arrive at the ski area, you will receive a nominal paper voucher along with your ski pass. This voucher will contain all the information you need to pick up your equipment at the rental point. if you would also like to rent a helmet, you can request and pay for it directly when you pick up your equipment.
